For 15 years, I silently suffered from persistent yeast infections, never realizing they may have been related to my tampon use. The reality is many of the physical discomforts we associate with our period come from products that fall short of our health and hygiene needs. For generations, we’ve accepted that our period weeks should be uncomfortable and embarrassing. It was time to change the status quo.
